Common questions
Can a dermatologist diagnose my skin problem online?
Many common concerns such as acne, pigmentation, hair fall, eczema and fungal infections can be assessed well by video with good photos. If an in-person examination or test is needed, Dr. Maria will tell you.
What photos should I send?
Take clear photos in daylight without filters or makeup: one close-up and one from a little further away, from the front and each side if it is on the face.
Will I get a prescription?
If treatment is appropriate after the assessment, you will receive written guidance on medicines and skincare, along with how and when to use them.
Is online consultation suitable for emergencies?
No. For rapidly spreading rashes, swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, high fever with a rash, or difficulty breathing, go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
